What is Academy AI?
Academy AI is cloud school management software. Is there a mobile app for teachers and parents?
Yes. One app for Android and iPhone serves both teachers and parents. Each person sees only what their role allows: teachers see their assigned classes, and parents see only their own children.
What can the AI assistant answer?
Parents can ask about their own child's fees, attendance and marks. Staff can ask for enrollment numbers, pending-fee summaries, or any student's profile, attendance, marks or leave history. Prospective parents can ask about your admission process and fee structure. Answers come from your live data, not a fixed FAQ. The AI assistant is included in the Premium (with AI) plan.
Which payment modes can we record?
Cash, UPI, card, cheque, NEFT and online payments. Post a payment once and the receipt is ready, the student ledger and school ledger update together, and the parent gets a payment-received confirmation automatically.
Is our school's data safe and private?
Each school's data is fully isolated from every other school on the platform. Access is role-based with custom roles and fine-grained permissions, login and password reset use OTP, and every change is recorded in an audit trail. Parents see only their own children.
Do we need to install anything or run servers?
No. Academy AI is cloud hosted. The office uses the web dashboard in a browser, and teachers and parents use the mobile app. There are no servers to maintain.
How do we move from registers and Excel to Academy AI?
Going live takes four steps: setup of your academic year, classes, sections, fee structures and roles; data import of students, parents and teachers from your registers and Excel; training for office, accounts and teachers; and go-live, starting with attendance and fees from day one.
Is there a free trial?

How much does Academy AI cost?
Pricing is per school, per month, based on your number of students. Standard starts at Rs 1,499 per month for up to 200 students and adds Rs 600 for every extra 100 students, up to Rs 6,299 for 1,000 students. Premium (with AI) starts at Rs 2,999 per month and adds Rs 1,000 per 100 students, up to Rs 10,999 for 1,000 students. Above 1,000 students we give a custom quote. Prices exclude 18% GST.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes. Pay for 10 months and get 12. For example, Standard for up to 200 students is Rs 14,990 per year instead of Rs 17,988, and Premium is Rs 29,990 per year.
Are prices inclusive of GST?
No. All prices exclude GST, which is charged at 18%.
Can parents pay fees online?
Not yet. Your office records each payment, whether cash, UPI, card, cheque or NEFT, and Academy AI generates the receipt and updates the student and school ledgers. Online fee payment by parents is not included at the moment.
Is there a launch offer?
Yes. The first 50 schools get 3 months at 50% off, or free onboarding.
How are parents notified?
Every plan sends in-app notifications. Premium adds WhatsApp, SMS and email. Notification templates with trigger rules send messages automatically when a student is marked absent, a fee falls due or a payment is received, and every message is recorded in a delivery log.
Can we export reports?
Yes. All nine standard reports, including the Fee Defaulter List, Collection Ageing, Class-wise Collection, Student-wise Dues, Expense Report, Attendance Summary, Academic Performance, Admission Report and Audit Trail, export to CSV for Excel.
